Aloo Sandwich | Grill Sandwich | Potato recipe

Ingredients: 

For Sandwich stuffing:
4 aloo/potatoes, boiled
1 bowl chopped onion
handful coriander
4 chopped green chilli
½ tsp garam masala
1 tsp amchoor / dry mango powder
¼ tsp salt
8 slices bread, white / brown
4 tbsp tomato sauce
4 tbsp green chutney

To make aloo sandwich, follow these steps:
  • In a large bowl take 4 boiled and mashed potato, chopped onion, 1 tbsp coriander, ½ tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp chaat masala and ¼ tsp salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients.
  • Now take 2 slices of bread and spread prepared aloo masala over bread slice.
  • Now place the bread slice in sandwich maker.
  • Roast the sandwich with little oil in sandwich maker.
  • Finally, cut the bread in half and serve spicy aloo sandwich with green or red sauce.

Murmura Chaat is the famous street food you can eat at any time of the day. This spicy and crispy chaat made with yellow puffed rice, different namkeen mixture, roasted gram, aloo bhujia, or sev. To enhance the flavour of chaat add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, black salt, and lemon juice. This chaat is prepared with green or tamarind chutney. To make Murmura Chaat, in a bowl take puffed rice, Navratan namkeen, roasted gram, aloo bhujia and salt. Mix well all the ingredients. Now add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies, oil and lemon juice. Again mix well. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Serve Murmura Chaat immediately. This recipe is require only 1 teaspoon oil so it can be a good option for the individual who is on diet.

2 cups yellow puffed rice (murmura)
2 tbsp navratan namkeen
2 tbsp roasted gram or bhuna chana
2 tbsp aloo bhujia/sev namkeen
1 tsp coriander leaves, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
2 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp green chutney
2 tbsp oil
Black Salt to taste

To make Murmura Chaat recipe follow these steps:

  1. In a bowl take puffed rice, navratan namkeen, roasted gram, aloo bhujia and salt. Mix well all the ingredients.
  2. Now add chopped onions, tomatoes, green chillies and lemon juice. Mix well.

Ingredients: 

5-10 pearl onions peeled
10-12 tsp cider vinegar
1 tsp sugar
2 pinches of salt (as per taste)
¾ tsp black pepper
A pinch of red food colour


To make Onion Sirka recipe, follow these steps: 

1. Take 10-12 small-sized pearl onions. 
2. Peel the onions completely and mark small cuts place them in a bowl. 
3. Take one cup of vinegar in a bowl and add sugar, salt, black pepper, and red colour in it. Mix them well. 
4. Now pour the liquid over onions in the jar/bowl. Ensure the onions are fully covered and the liquid comes up half an inch above the surface of the onions. 
5. Soak the onions in the liquid for 1-2 days to get taste and colour. 
6. Tangy and yummy pickled onions are ready to be savored.

A simple, crispy, and tasty pakoda made of spinach, basic spices, and gram flour. Palak pakoras or pakoras are deep fried tea time snack from Indian cuisine. The key ingredients used to make these crispy fried snacks are gram flour and spinach. These are good to serve hot with a cup of tea. To make Palak Pakora, wash and rinse palak in enough water and chopped in small pieces. Take palak and besan in a bowl. Add chopped green chillies, ginger paste, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix all the ingredients well. Now make small balls from the mixture. Now, heat a pan with oil. When the oil is just hot enough, drop the balls of the mixture in a pan. Fry pakoras till it turns golden. Drain pakoras on a tissue paper. Serve palak pakora hot with green or red sauces.
