Poha recipe| Make Simple and Tasty Poha in minutes..





Poha recipe is a popular western Indian breakfast recipe made with beaten rice. It's a simple, nutritious recipe for a meal that can be made within minutes and can be served to any occasion. Poha recipe is very popular throughout India. To make Poha, put Poha in a Strainer bowl and wash. Do not let it soak too long in the water. Leave Poha in the strainer bowl to drain out completely. Heat the oil in a pan, roast the peanuts on a low flame and put it aside in a bowl. Now in the hot oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves and onions along with chopped green chillies. When onions turn light golden brown, add potatoes, till they look a bit glossy. Add the turmeric, red chilli powder, dhania powder, salt and sauté over low heat till the potatoes become soft. Increase the flame, add Poha and roasted peanuts and mix well. Cook for 1-2 minutes. Keep on stirring. Close the flame, mix in lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves. To serve Poha, garnish with the Aloo bhujia, Coriander leaves and lemon wedges.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Poha/chivda (pressed rice)
1/2 cup Onions, finely chopped
1/2 cup Green Peas, (boiled)
1/2 cup Potatoes (diced small)
2 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped
10-12 Curry leaves
2-4 Green Chillies, finely chopped
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
1/2 tsp Dhaniya Powder
1 tsp Mustard seeds
2 tbsp Peanuts
1 tsp Salt
1 tbsp Lemon juice
2 tbsp Oi

For Garnishing

Aloo Bhujia
Lemon wedges 
Coriander Leaves

To make Poha recipe follow these steps:
