Fried Soya Chaap

Ingredients:

Soya Chaap (सोया चाप ) – 5 (250 gms)
Curd (दही ) – 1 small bowl
Coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर) - 1 tsp
Garam Masala (गरम मसाला ) - 1/2 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste (अदरक पेस्ट ) - 1/2 tsp
Red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर ) - 1/2 tsp
Salt (नमक ) - 1 tsp or as per taste
Other ingredients for Marinating:
Maid (मैदा ) - 1/2 cup (50 gms)
Turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर ) - 1/4 tsp
Chili flakes (चिली फ्लैक ) - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper(काली मिर्च )- 1/4 tsp
Oregano (ऑरेगैनो) - 1/2 tsp
Soya chunks (सोया चंक ) - 1 cup (100 gms)
Oil (तेल )- for frying


To make fried Soya Chaap, follow these steps:


To marinate Soya Chaap: 

1. In a bowl, take 1 small bowl dahi, now add 1/2 tsp ginger paste, 1/2 tsp garam masala,1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 tsp red chili powder,1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp salt, Mix all ingredients well. 

2. Dip the soya chaap in the masala and coated well with spoon. 

3. Keep aside for 20 minutes so that spices are absorbed well. 

4. Now take 5 soya chaaps, 

5. Put 4 to 5 cut marks on the soya chaap with the help of a knife. 

6. Take 1/2 cup refined flour add water and make thin paste. 

7. In the flour paste, add 1/2 tsp chili flakes,1/ tsp coarsely ground black pepper, add 1/2 tsp oregano, add 1/2 tsp salt. Mix all ingredients well. 

8. After 20 minutes, Soya chaap is marinated and ready. Now coat it with coarsely ground soya chunks. Coat all likewise. 

For Deep Frying 

1. Heat a pan with oil. When the oil is just hot enough, put the soya chaap in a pan. 

2. Fry chaap for 4-5 minutes till it turns golden. 

3. Drain chaap on a tissue paper. 

4. Serve fried soya chaap hot with green or red sauces.

Matar Paneer/Mutter Paneer Recipe


Matar paneer is a vegetarian dish consisting of peas and paneer mingled in a tomato-based sauce, spiced with garam masala. It is often served with rice and Chapatti. Various other ingredients are often added, such as corn, yogurt or cream. This easy to prepare tasty matar paneer is quite often made at home. It is one of the popular paneer recipe made in north India.

Ingredients: 
1/4 Cup Lemon Juice 
10 g Ginger
6 Flakes Garlic 
1 Teaspoon Turmeric Powder 
2 Teaspoons Red Chilli Powder
1 ½ Tablespoons Coriander Powder
1 Tablespoon Cumin Powder 
½ Teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
1 Tablespoon Salt 


Other Ingredients: 

250 Gms Paneer 
4 Medium (400 Gms.) Onions grated 
2 Large (350 Gms.) Tomatoes chopped
2¾ Cups Whey or Water
5 Cups Fresh or Frozen Peas 
1 Tablespoon Coriander leaves chopped Vegetable oil for cooking

To make Matar Paneer recipe follow these steps: 

  1. In a grinder, grind ginger and garlic into a paste.
  2. Cut paneer into small cubes.
  3. Heat oil in a pan for about 3 minutes.
  4. Fry paneer till it becomes light golden brown. Drain off excess oil leaving ½ cup in a pan.
  5. Place a pan on high heat.
  6. Add onions and fry till golden brown.
  7. Add ginger-garlic paste. Stir for a few seconds.
  8. Add turmeric, chilli, coriander and cumin powders, salt, tomatoes and 1/4 cup whey or water. Cook tomatoes approximately for 5 minutes till it becomes pulpy and oil traces appear over the gravy. Keep on stirring.
  9. Now add peas. Stir fry for about 2 minutes. Add remaining whey or water (2½ cups).
  10. Close the lid of a pan. Cook for 2 min on full heat. Reduce heat and cook for 1 minute. Open pan.
  11. Add paneer and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  12. Add garam masala powder. Stir slowly.
  13. Serve hot, garnished with coriander leaves.

Phool Gobhi Pakora | फूलगोभी पकौड़ा | Quick Recipe|





A simple, crispy and tasty pakora made of Phool Gobhi, basic spices and gram flour. Phool Gobhi pakodas or pakoras are deep fried tea time snack from Indian cuisine. The key ingredients used to make these crisp fried snacks are gram flour and Phool Gobhi. These are good to serve hot with a cup of tea.

Ingredients: 

1 bowl boiled Phool Gobhi 

1 small bowl Besan 

handful chopped coriander 

4 chopped green chilli 

1 tsp dhaniya powder 

½ tsp red chilli powder/lal mirch powder

1 tsp amchoor / dry mango powder 

½ tsp salt 

Oil: for frying


To make gobhi pakora,  follow these steps:

Take besan in a bowl.
  • Add chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, amchoor powder, dhaniya powder and salt.
  • Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Now coat the boiled gobi with besan for deep fry.

For Deep Frying
  • Heat a pan with oil. When the oil is just hot enough, put coated boiled gobhi in a pan.
  • Fry gobhi pakoras till it turn golden.
  • Drain gobhi pakoras on a tissue paper.
  • Serve gobhi pakora hot with green or red sauces.

Ginger/अदरक: 1inch
Peppercorns/कालीमिर्च: 4-6
Cloves/लौंग: 3-4
Holi basil leaves/तुलसी पत्ती: 5-6
Cinnamon/दालचीनी: 1.5 inch
Honey to taste शहद स्वाद अनुस्वार



To make Kadha, follow these steps:

1. Take 2-3 cups of water in a pan and boil it.

2. Add basil leaves to the water and let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
3. Slightly crush all ingredients i.e. black pepper, clove, cinnamon and ginger and add to water and boil it.

4. Boil the water until it comes down to half.

5. Strain the liquid through a sieve.

6. Now add honey to enhance the taste.

7. A homemade immunity-booster drink is now ready to be consumed.
